Welcome to Faith and Grace Organics! I’m Janine Szulim, a proud mom of three beautiful children under the age of three and a devoted wife to my wonderful husband, Johnny Szulim. My journey began in Veracruz, Mexico, but I was brought to Minnesota when I was just seven years old. Ever since, I’ve called this vibrant state my home.

I graduated from Simley High School and pursued a degree in Business Management at Mankato State University. However, balancing a full-time job and part-time studies proved challenging, and I made the decision to step away from college in my third year. I always knew I had a dream of owning my own business one day and felt confident that my passion and determination would be my greatest assets, rather than a degree.

My interest in healthier lifestyle choices has been a constant throughout my life. I vividly remember struggling to find clean, non-toxic makeup products during my high school years. In 2021, when I welcomed my first baby into the world, I dove deeper into researching healthier products. My son’s struggle with eczema and a frustrating experience with a greenwashed product fueled my determination to create safe, effective skincare solutions for my family. What started as a personal mission to make our own products quickly garnered interest from friends and family.

On January 12, 2023, I took a leap of faith and officially registered Faith and Grace Organics LLC with the state. Our first local craft show was a tremendous success, which inspired me to focus on selling online. I wanted to be present for my children as much as possible while sharing the products I had poured my heart into.

In the midst of this journey, I turned to prayer, asking God to bless our business. One pivotal night, as I was preparing for an upcoming craft show, I heard God’s voice speak to me amidst the worship music playing in the background. He assured me that He would bless this business beyond my wildest dreams. Overwhelmed with joy, I held onto those words tightly, especially during the months when we were living paycheck to paycheck. Every extra dollar was a blessing, and I felt God’s hand guiding us. In late October 2023, I decided to create my own version of wild yam cream during my pregnancy, wanting to ensure I had a natural solution to help balance my hormones after birth. When I listed the product on our TikTok shop, it took off like wildfire, transforming our business from receiving about ten orders a day to hundreds.

By April 2024, we reached an incredible milestone when my husband Johnny made the courageous decision to leave his corporate job and join me full-time in the business. As co-owner, he has been an invaluable partner, contributing his skills and support as we navigate this exciting journey together. Working side by side as husband and wife has been a true blessing, strengthening our bond while
allowing us to pursue our shared dream.

As of now, we are proud to share that Faith and Grace Organics has generated over $2.5 million in sales, a testament to the love and support from our incredible community. We are immensely grateful for each and every customer who has embraced our products and joined us on this journey.

Looking ahead, we have big plans for the future, including establishing our own farm to supply our beeswax and herbs. Our goal is to deepen our commitment to sustainability while continuing to create high-quality, natural products that benefit our customers and the environment.

Above all, we want to give all the glory to God for the blessings we've received. His presence has been a guiding light in this venture, and we aspire to be a blessing to others, just as He has blessed us. Thank you for being a part of our story.
